Damancom Guide 2026: CNSS Online Declaration in Morocco | Upsilon Consulting

In brief: Damancom (www.damancom.ma) is the CNSS online portal enabling Moroccan businesses to file social security declarations and make contribution payments electronically. Since 2025, access is exclusively through Mon e-ID. The Nominative Salary Declaration (DNS) must be submitted by the 10th of the following month, and payment made by the last day of the following month. Late payment penalties are 3% for the first month then 0.5% per additional month.

What Is Damancom?

Damancom is the online services platform of the Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale (CNSS), Morocco’s national social security fund. It allows employers to:

  • Declare employee salaries (Nominative Salary Declaration);
  • Pay social security contributions online;
  • View declaration and payment history;
  • Download statements and certificates.

This portal progressively replaces in-person procedures at CNSS agencies and is now the primary channel for all interactions between employers and the fund. A chartered accountant can manage all these procedures on behalf of the company.

Registration and Access via Mon e-ID

Since 2025, authentication on Damancom is exclusively through Mon e-ID, Morocco’s national digital identity system. This measure strengthens transaction security and simplifies access management.

Prerequisites

Before registering, ensure you have the following:

  • A valid Electronic National Identity Card (CNIE);
  • A smartphone (Android or iOS) with the Mon e-ID Morocco app installed;
  • Your company’s CNSS affiliation number;
  • An active professional email address.

Activation Steps

  1. Download the application Mon e-ID Morocco from Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Authenticate with your electronic national ID card following the app’s instructions (NFC reading or QR code scan).
  3. Create your digital identity by entering your personal information and setting a PIN code.
  4. Access Damancom: go to www.damancom.ma and click “Login via Mon e-ID.”
  5. Validate authentication on the Mon e-ID app (push notification).
  6. Link your company by entering the CNSS affiliation number.

Account activation takes approximately 48 hours after the first login. During this period, the CNSS verifies the match between the digital identity and the affiliated company data.

Nominative Salary Declaration (DNS)

The DNS is the monthly obligation of every employer affiliated with the CNSS. It consists of declaring, for each employee, the compensation and activity details for the past month.

Deadlines and Calendar

  • Declaration deadline: the 10th of the month following the relevant period. For example, the March 2026 DNS must be submitted by April 10, 2026.
  • Salary Declaration Slip (BDS): automatically sent by the CNSS on the 22nd of each month, it summarizes the declared items and calculated contributions.
  • The declaration is monthly and mandatory for all companies, regardless of size.

Required Information per Employee

For each employee, the DNS requires the following information:

  • Employee’s CNSS registration number;
  • Number of days worked in the month (maximum 26 days per month);
  • Gross salary earned during the period;
  • Any movements: hiring, departure, contract suspension.

Any errors or omissions in this data can lead to declaration rejections and complications for the employee’s social security rights. A professional payroll management firm ensures the accuracy of this information.

Online Form Entry vs File Transmission

Damancom offers two declaration methods adapted to company size:

  • Online form entry: ideal for SMEs with a small workforce. The employer manually fills in the fields for each employee directly on the portal.
  • File transmission: suited for large companies. A structured file (CNSS standard format) is generated by the payroll software and uploaded to Damancom. This method automates the process and reduces the risk of errors.

Online Contribution Payment

Once the DNS is validated, the company must pay the corresponding social security contributions.

Payment Methods

Three payment options are available on Damancom:

  1. Online payment: payment by bank card or transfer directly on the portal.
  2. Automatic debit: authorization given to the CNSS to automatically debit the contribution amount from the company’s bank account.
  3. Electronic settlement: payment through partner banking platforms.

The payment deadline is the last day of the month following the declared period. For example, March 2026 contributions must be paid by April 30, 2026.

Penalties and Sanctions

Non-compliance with CNSS obligations exposes the employer to significant financial penalties:

  • Late payment (since April 2025): a surcharge of 3% for the first month of delay, followed by 0.5% per additional month.
  • Failure to register an employee: fine of 1,000 MAD per unregistered employee.
  • Declaration delay exceeding 7 months: penalty of 50 MAD per month per employee concerned.

These penalties are applied automatically and can represent substantial amounts for companies with a large workforce. Strict compliance with the CNSS calendar is therefore essential.
